"LGBTQ advocates and the religious battle in the states over whose rights come first." This lead is an example of a Single-Item lead.

This artical is written to portray and protest the rights of the LGBTQ community. They are not given the proper respect and rights as a person outside of this community.

The artical I choose to base this presentation on is all about how the LGBTQ community does not get all the rights a non LGBTQ person does get. For example, things not allowed for an LGBTQ person to pursue are marriage, good jobs, not much respect, and religion.

This artical specifies that South Dakota, Texas, India, Alabama,Oklahoma, and Georgia are all against LGBTQ people. They don't want them to adopt children to care for. They are pro child welfare agency's to "save" children from being adopted to people from the LGBTQ community.

This article was written to draw attention to how the LGBTQ community is being treated and to put a stop to it as soon as possible and to raise awareness.

This article came to be by Susan Milligan writing it and publishing it.

The authors concluding statement is the following, "President Donald Trump declined to undo a directive from former President Barack Obama that bans discrimination against LGBT people by federal contractors. But both sides are waiting to see if Trump will issue an executive order providing a religious exemption to that Obama executive order."
