EMBRACE THE CHALLENGE OULU NORTHERN LIGHTS START 3-0 FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE '09

In their second home game of the season, the Northern Lights welcome visitors from Tartu, Estonia.

The Tartu Titans arrive in Oulu at six in the morning, five hours before kickoff. Despite the long bus ride and a roster of only 20 men, the Titans show they've come to play.

Quarterback #88 Aku Uotila leads an efficient first drive, consuming over nine minutes of game time.

After running the ball on every down the Northern Lights finally pass on 4th & Goal. Fullback #8 Aleksi Statsevich comes through in the clutch to extend his touchdown streak to three games.

Running back #21 Juuso Kantola provides hard running throughout the game. Kantola is rewarded in the fourth quarter with his first touchdown of the season.

WR #83 Taavetti Rantala embodies speed and quickness. Rantala's efficient sweeps keep the Titans defense on their toes.

Northern Lights jump to a three touchdown advantage at the half and eventually win the game 47-18.

Defense plays well, holding a second consecutive opponent to less than 20 points.

Coaches Perttu Hyttinen and Tim Johnson are pleased with the result. The team is improving.
