It is such a privilege to be part of something big -- especially if we know that it is God who is in our midst. That's why it was so overwhelming for me to be part of the first ever Life On Purpose Seminar which was conducted in Southville International School last January. We were able to minister to a total of 38 Filipino and foreign students. In this activity, we were able to impart to the students the value of setting goals as young as they are now and the things that they can do to impact the world around them. Please continue to pray for us as we plan to conduct the same seminar in Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines, and Rizal High School.
Last February we also had our outreach series for the youth entitled Heartbeat. We were able to share to them God’s message about identity, sex and marriage. The students also learned biblical insights which were new to them and were even able to share them with their classmates. Truly, one of the ways to effectively reach out the next generation is by preaching sensitive topics like these to them. It would be better for them to hear about these in church, than from other unbiblical resources.
