Life in the cities

A lot of people in the city were affected by the Great Depression. Some more than others. Some were forced to live on the streets.

Agriculture in the 1930's

Farmers started to not be able to lose their land and farms because they didn't have enough money to keep everything going


Minorities such as African Americans were the first to lose their jobs because of The Great Depression

Family life

Most families had a very hard time getting money in the 30's because of the Great Depression. Lack of food was a issue for a lot of families.

Leisure Time

People started getting creative with what they did in their free time because of a lack of money. Sports and radio were two major leisurely activities.
