Feeding Leroy came out of the collaboration of Sonja Bjordal and Lee Martin’s original songs, blending into a unique project, with their songwriting and vocal harmonies as the focus of the band's sound. It's kind of a family affair now, with brother Luke Martin stepping in on the harmonica and longtime friend and bassist Adam Staupe on the upright bass, both adding their vocal harmonies, creating somewhat of a gospel undertone that acts as its own instrument in the band. Think Gram Parsons and Emmylou meets the Jayhawks...it's country music at its core. It's fun. It's original. It's Feeding Leroy.
