The Great Depression BY: Cali Suarez

Banks failed and ruined many Americans Life savings. This caused people to lose their homes and jobs and they had no way to get them back since the banks failed.

The Great Depression caused many people to be jobless, homeless, and many families starved. There was no way to get jobs back and people lost money. More than 90,000 businesses failed completely and about 15 million people were out of work.

Programs were set up to help resolve economic problems caused by the great depression. There were 4 programs and this was the New Deal.
