GRADUATION DEADLINE

Planning to graduate this spring? You need to apply first! And the priority deadline is this Friday, January 12. Find out more information here.

DROP DATE

Reminder: the last day to drop a class and still get a 100% refund on tuition is Thursday, January 18. Not that you'll want to drop any of your Communication classes.

MISSISSIPPI COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATION

Save the date! The annual meeting of the Mississippi Communication Association will be Friday, February 16, 2018, at the Holiday Inn Express in Pearl, Miss. All Communication students - undergraduate and graduate - are invited to attend for a fee of only one dollar. Students are also encouraged to submit a research paper for presentation (which looks great on a resume or graduate school application!). For details, contact Dr. Merle Ziegler.

CAREER DAY

Mark your calendars for Career Day 2018! This year's event is Tuesday, February 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Anderson Hall. All students are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to network with local, regional, and national employers who are looking to hire Mississippi College students. SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL

Performances of Much Ado About Nothing are on tap for the 2018 Shakespeare Festival at Mississippi College. This year's shows will be in Swor Auditorium in Nelson Hall. Performances are schedule for Thursday, February 22, at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Friday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Friday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, February 25, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. Tickets for groups of 20 or more are $4.00 each (one chaperone is free for every 10 students in youth groups). For more information, contact Dr. Phyllis Seawright.
