Neptune

Neptune is the farthest planet away from the sun it is 2.8 billion miles away from earth and 2.795 from the sun.
The Voyager 2 is the only probe we have sent to Neptune. We sent the Voyager 2 on August 20, 1977,
Neptune has 14 satellites (moons) it's most known one is Triton.

Neptune had been discovered by Galileo, he had recorded it as a fixed star during observations with his small telescope in 1612 and 1613.

The average temperature on Neptune is -373 F° or -238 C°. Along with being cold Neptune is also very windy.
Neptune is named after the roman god of the sea, Neptune.
Neptune was also the only planet found by mathmaticial equations.
