What the World has Come to by SAWYER mcnish

The Syrian Civil War is a war between many different parties in Syria, including ISIS, Assad, The Rebels, and the Kurds. There are many other parties backing each of the groups.

This war been going on since 2011. Kids are also involved in the war, and not just in the crossfire, but actually fighting in it! The different parties don't even care because they just give these innocent children guns and let them fight. They obviously aren't thinking about the fact that they are just kids.

There have been bombings all over the place, destroying entire towns and killing hundreds of people in the towns.

The effects of the war on Syria are of course the kids getting involved but others are chemical weapons being used. Which is an international law that they are not to be used in war. The most recent chemical weapon disaster was April 4th. at least 70 people were killed and at least 20 of which were kids. This just shows the disasters going on over there.

The kids that are involved in the war are being given guns that are too heavy, too big, and so dangerous that they are injuring themselves because they don't know how to use them.

The war started with protests due to the Presidential election of Assad. They started to escalate more and more after kids were arrested and tortured due to writing revolutionary messages on their school's bathroom walls.

More and more war crimes started to happen, including murder, rape, torture, and enforced disappearances.

On April 6th Donald Trump launched 59 tomahawk missiles at a Syrian base. This caused a big controversy with everyone, especially the government of the US and Syria.
