Lois Ruby went to the University of California, Berkeley, and got her English degree and got a Master's degree in library science.
Lori Chase, a sixteen-year-old girl, moves to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and doesn't like it there because the town is obsessed with Civil War history. She meets and falls in love with the ghost of a soldier, Nathaniel Pierce, and helps put his soul to rest, because he was murdered, and didn't die during the war.
I like the style of writing since it's easy to understand what's going on in the story. It's also written in first person point of view. I also like how it's a romance/historical fiction novel.
