The Odyssey Research By Leila Quinonez Period 4

Who is Homer?

Everything known about Homer is a blur. The author of The Odyssey and The Lliad is presumed to be the main educator of Greece in his time. In The Odyssey, a blind poet/minstrel named Demodoko was thought to be a character he wrote as a reflection. In the epic Demodoko was blind and had course curly hair with a matching beard. Many statues of him were made like this. Some would even say he was before his time.
