Cheyenne And Wichita Tribes

CHEYENNE - Nomadic

Food

Cheyenne did not stay in one place with the amount of water shortage that they had, so they gathered wild plants and animals to stay healthy and fed. They sometimes had to rely on buffalo to feed their tribe. Buffalo was probably the biggest resource to the Cheyenne tribe

Shelter

The Cheyenne tribe relied on tepees to give shelter which can be moved around with travois, which was good because the Cheyenne never had a permanent home from their water shortage.
