Beach Tunes Kitsilano Beach

On The Water

We went to Kitsilano Beach today, so we needed to take a False Creek ferry to the Maritime Museum stop at the far end of the route. We had taken a boat before, but it was a short ride across False Creek. This trip was a nice long ride out to the end of False Creek.

Ferry Trip

City Beach

After the ferry ride, we made our way along Kitsilano Beach. Today, like many later days, made me aware that the children are more interested in self adventure. This discovery is vital for developing a more detailed program which allows the teacher to find the best avenue for developing relationships that can increase the amount of English language immersion.

Pool Fun

The kids weren't interested in swimming in the ocean. However, the beach has a swimming pool which they thought was much better suited for swimming.

Walk Back

Ride Home

The walk back was a bit long and we were quite happy to take a ferry back to the subway station. It was a long day with plenty of water and a fair bit of fun.
