Money Budgeting Berkley Shirley

My income is $2000 a month.

I owe $1000 in rent every month. This is a fixed amount because my rent will always be $1000 every month.

I spend $500 on utilities and gas for my car. This is a variable amount because the amount of gas money I need or amount I need on utilities varies per month.

I usually have a grocery bill of $250 a month. This is a relatively fixed amount because I can control what I buy from the store.

A way to try and solve this problem would be to pick up extra shifts at work in order to make some more money to afford both.
