Ancient Greek Art By Evan Papania

Art reflects the values the society that created it and appreciated it and no other art style reflects this statement better than ancient geek art and architecture.
One piece of architecture that reflects the values of the Greek society that created it and appreciated it is the Parthenon. The Parthenon reflects the Greek value of worshipping the different gods and goddesses since the temple was built as a shrine to Athena the Greek Goddess of war and wisdom. The Parthenon is also very large in size with huge pillars in the front which reflects the Greek value of having things on a much larger scale.
One piece of architecture that reflects the values of the Greek society that created it and appreciated it were Greek human stone statues. These type of statues reflects the Greek value of strength with these statues not only being of muscular figures but also are made from stone. These types of statues also show that the Greeks paid attention to detail with many of the statues being masterfully carved with care.
Art reflects the values the society that created it and appreciated it and no other art style reflects this statement better than ancient geek art and architecture. These pieces of art show examples of what the standards should be for both the buildings and people in Greece and what they should try to copy.
