Be a part of HUBweek's third annual Pitch Competition and Demo Day!

We are inviting early-stage, high-impact startups to showcase their products and ideas to an engaged audience of thousands at The HUB on Boston's City Hall Plaza this fall. This is your chance to show off your company's innovations, and to tell the world how you're making waves in your industry and working toward a brighter future.

Selected startups will have the opportunity to participate in three main opportunities: a Pitch Competition, Demo Day Showcase, and a day of programs, workshops, and networking events.

Last year, we featured 100 of the most impactful startups from here in Boston, and in 2018, the Call for Startups is scaling up! This year, we're expanding to feature up to 150 rising startups not only from the Boston area, but also from across Massachusetts and around the world.

Call for Massachusetts and international startups to participate in our 2018 Pitch Competition and Demo Day Showcase

Saturday, October 13, 2018

City Hall Plaza, Boston

*DEADLINE EXTENSION* The Call for Startups will remain open until Friday, June 29

HUBweek's Pitch Competition and Demo Day are opportunities to showcase your company and to join a global community of fellow impact-oriented entrepreneurs and innovators who are transforming their industries and building a brighter future.

  • Get exposure for your company and ideas in front of an engaged, curious audience who want to learn more about — and maybe invest in — your startup.
  • Tap into knowledge from thought leaders and mentors from the private and non-profit sectors.
  • Over one hundred selected startups will showcase in front of thousands of attendees at The HUB on Saturday, October 13, and a smaller number of companies will be chosen to participate in the HUBweek Pitch Competition and compete for a range of prizes. (Last year, we gave away over $150,000 in cash and prizes!)
  • Access local and national media, VIP gatherings with potential investors, clients, mentors and startup community leaders, and make connections to top startup founders from around the city, state, and the globe.
  • Whether you're from Greater Boston, Massachusetts, or abroad, Demo Day is an opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and meet new colleagues from around the world; learn more about doing business and scaling up in Boston; and join a cohort of impressive startups who are building our future.

Our 2017 pitch competition champion was Pipeguard Robotics Inc., a company working to detect water leaks quickly and accurately.

"I have to come back to HUBweek next year, and years after. There are so much more interesting and inspiring things happening in Boston, the most dynamic and innovative city in the world. It is a rare opportunity to be able to see so much and get inspired so many times in a few days."
"HUBweek Demo Day and HUBweek in general is an eye-opening event...I suggest companies to immerse themselves in this event and get the most out of HUBweek." - You Wu, Pipeguard Robotics Co-Founder
