Miguel de Cervantes was born the 29th of September, 1547 in Alcalá de Henares (Spain) and died the 22nd of April, 1616.
At the age of 19 he published his first poems. He went to Rome in 1569, where he learned the Italian style and art.
He is considered to be the highest figure of the literature and is universally known for having written The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha (commonly known as Don Quijote).
It is one of the most translated books in history with the Bible.
