1960s fashion

1960s fashion turned from pricey couture to cheap and casual street wear. Hemlines roese to create the first mini skirt revealing stick legs covered by colored tights. Low heel shoes, long hair and little girl shape dresses emphasized this was a time for the youth to shine.

1960s Technology

The first video game console

There is nothing like a rainy afternoon in with your console so we have a lot to thank Ralph Baer for when he envisioned the original in 1960. In May of 1967 he played the very first multiplayer video game, which he lost, and in 1968 he completed the working prototype.

1960s Movies

Some of the best and most memorable movies in film history were made during this time. The '60s saw the overlap of many of the iconic film directors and stars from Hollywood's Golden Age along with some of the young upstarts who came to define the next generation of stars and powerbrokers.

Star Trek is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the Starship USS Enterprise and its crew. It later acquired the retronym of Star trek: the Original Series to distinguish. the show is set in the Milky Way galaxy, roughly during the the 2260s.
