Ruby Bridges The first African American to go to a white school

What makes her so important is that: She wanted to learn even though people were threating her. Most parents took their children out of school because of Ruby. It was just Mrs. Henry and her for the rest of the school year. If Ruby Bridges did not do this, it maybe still would be like that today.

How has Ruby Bridges change our world: by showing that everyone is equal and that black girls and boys could go to a white school and that everyone needs a good education. Ruby Bridges keept on going to school even though it was just Ruby and Mrs. Henry. When Ruby walked to school protesters yelled and screamed at her. Ruby did not know why they were doing that?

She has influenced me by showing me that whites are not smarter than blacks we are all equaly smart and they should have been treated that way. Whites are not always better than blacks. They were not being fair!
