Why is Shepherd’s Purse edible? Kaleb Hunter period 5

Shepherd's purse is a part of the Mustard family, so we all already know its gross without eating it. It's distinguishable from other mustard plants by the purse-shaped seedpods.

Shepherds purse is one of the earliest wild greens to appear in the spring. The entire thing is edible and is recommended to be eaten raw because it is healthier. I recommend not eating it at all because mustard is gross.
