How does poetry make a difference?
Poetry makes a difference to fighters when they feel like giving up as it motivates them to keep moving forward. The poems that have achieved this is Don’t Quit by Edgar A. Guest and When Life Kicks You, Let It Kick You Forward by Kay Yow. Poetry also makes a difference to families who have lost someone they love to this abhorrent disease by comforting them.
