Buried Love Behind the Scenes of the 2016 Des Moines 48HFP short film

"Buried Love" is a short film created by Gate 13 & Company for the 48 Hour Film Project 2016. This page is dedicated to the cast and crew who made the movie happen. Gate 13 & Company is but a pseudonym, an alias, for Gabriel Tejeda & the family and friends who support and assist him in filmmaking. It is the Cast and Crew who helped manifest the short story.

Buried Love was written, shot, and edited in 48 Hours during the weekend of Juy 22-24. The short film was written by Gabriel Tejeda, Breanna Ghazali, and Benjamin Moeller. Gabriel Tejeda directed and also acted in Buried Love alongside Phil Campos, Heidi Bilber and Dominic Gray. The film's cinematographer was Gerado Duròn, assisted by Robert Whicker. Sound was captured by Colton Milosevich, assisted by Blake Pruitt. Script Supervision was handled by Jennifer Tejeda, who made editing all that much easier. And speaking of editing: Daniel Files, Gerardo Duròn and even Gabriel Tejeda spliced and tweaked how the short film is seen today. Demian Tejeda, Riley Glenn provided much appreciated Production Assistance.

Dominic Gray had to run during a scene we shot in "Buried Love". There were a lot of takes.

A special thanks to Benjamin's mom, Joanne Moeller, because her house was intruded by this production in the best way possible; her home and her land was a beautiful setting for this film. Another special thanks to Tamale's Industry for providing the production's meals, because nothing runs a production better than good food.

All photos were taken by Ryan Yen, one of my very good friends who did such a great job capturing wonderful moments during the weekend and the Behind-the-Scenes video was shot and edited by Jeremy Harris, one of my classmate from DMACC's Video Production program. Jeremy's videos does good job of, not only showing how the movie was made, but what goes on during inevitable downtime.
