Terrell's Walk-Off Single Gives Mustangs Split With Washington (Md.)

Junior Mark Terrell came off the bench in the bottom of the seventh to deliver a walk-off single for the Stevenson baseball team as they took game two of their non-conference doubleheader against Washington College (Md.) by a score of 4-3 to earn a split of the day's proceedings after dropping the first contest by a 3-1 margin on Sunday afternoon at Sugar Field. -- STORY

The Stevenson baseball team held early leads in both games of their MAC Commonwealth doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, but were unable to maintain them as the visiting Widener University hit two home runs in each game to down the Mustangs by scores of 6-3 in eight in game one, before taking the second contest 6-4 at Sugar Field. -- STORY

The Stevenson men's golf team won the tiebreaker over Rutgers-Camden to take first place overall at the Stevenson Spring Invitational, held at the Piney Branch Golf Club. The host Mustangs, who finished with a team score of 313 (+29), won the tiebreaker due to their fifth golfer having the lower score. Junior Danika Ani opened up the outdoor season with a first-place finish in the shot put at the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener. Ani's winning toss of 13.12 meters is currently tops in the Mideast region, seventh in Division III and has already qualified her for the AARTFC Outdoor Championship in May.
