Captain, Campbell Harris at bat & giving out high fives after a successful weekend

Baseball had a long weekend, as they competed in 4 games, 3 of which were held at home. Their first set of games was a 3 games series verse Howard. Mason swept Howard in all 3 games (9-7, W) (15-1, W), and (12-1, W). The Patriots finished their weekend series with a single game against Georgetown University, in which they defeated the Hoyas 13-4. The 4 game winning streak wraps up the season for the Patriots!


Crew took their talents to the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championship on Saturday. Stats are listed below:

Men's Lax hoisting the Battle of NOVA trophy

Men’s Lacrosse took on Northern Virginia Community College this past weekend to end their season and sent them home packing with an astounding victory of 19-9! Miles Herbst led the team with 10 goals and 3 assists. Mason is looking very hopeful as they end the season and look to prepare for the 2017-2018 season in the upcoming months. Women's Soccer

Women’s Soccer hosted VCU in a single game match-up on the RAC Field. Despite a crucial goal by Maggie Blondin, Mason fell to their opponent 1-2.


'16-'17 Mason Club Softball

Softball wrapped up their season with a double header this weekend against RCC and NOVA. In their first matchup Maon got behind early in the game and attempted a late comeback, but came up just short (4-6, L). In the second game against NOVA, Mason was able to capitalize and end the game in 5 inings. Throughout the day the offense was able to put hits across the board while the pitchers, Sarah Robertson and Melissa Fangio, delieverd strikeout after strikeout (8-0, W).

Trap & Skeet

Trap & Skeet competed against Washington College and other local competitors this past Sunday. Mason took second place in sporting clays.

Men's Rugby

Men's Rugby in Yellow & Alumni in Green

Men's Rugby ended their season at home by holding their annual Alumni Game! The event included a short game of three 20 minute halves and then a meet & greet after the match. Unfortunately, this year the young team was no match for the Alumni and their wealth of experience as they lost 62-10 to the Alum. Jami Kidder-Walls and Bassam Estwani were noted with trys in the match.

21st Annual Victims' Rights 5K Run & Walk

Mason Club Sports had a strong showing at the 21st Annual Victims' Rights 5K Run & Walk this past Thursday, April 27. Club Sports was represented by the office staff and several members from clubs. Chase Lattimore (Crew) and David Wenzel (Crew, FH, and Tennis) took home 2nd and 3rd place in the Victims' Rights 5K Run.
