Harmony Science Academy Waco

One of our Seniors was highlighted in the local magazine, the Wacoan. Harmony student pictures were featured in the magazine. Noey Meza, campus COC was featured on the front page of the Waco newspaper in an article about the new school and its expectations. State Representative "Doc" Anderson is working on publishing a Resolution recognizing Harmony Science Academy's 10 years providing a STEM focused education to the Waco community.

HSI Student Models for Bridal Show

8th grade Parent Night prepares parents for high school. Brother model formal wear at Fort Worth Bridal Show. HSI is set for Math League, Science Fair and STEM Festival Saturday. Seniors prepare Prom. Cheerleaders learn School Choice dance. Speak to PTO about School Choice Rally, Harmony on the Hill and April 26th in Austin. Afeeha Kahazi-Syed was named as a top 300 scholar in the the Regeneron Talent Search. this is a great honor and signifies tremendous talent and promise in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathmatics. The announcement of 40 finalists, who will compete for more than $1.5 million in awards, will be January 24th.

Harmony Science Academy Fort Worth

Weather Wonder, Meteorologist Maggie, will perform magic that will demonstrate various weather phenomena. For one example, water will magically evaporate and also turn into snow. What can we make from snow? A snowman of course! A magical snowman will also be made and a picture of a snowman will come to life and talk to us, too! (Based on the story Frosty the Snowman). A water tornado will demonstrate a real tornado. She even demonstrates lightning with the help of electricity. Takin' care of business...We prepared and showcased a Lost and Found improvement, Open House and Talent Show Auditions took place.

Harmony Science Academy Garland

Sixth grade attended the AAS conference at the Gaylord. The school wide spelling bee will be on Friday. The 6th grade science students finised their Parachute PBL.

Harmony School of Innovation Garland

TSI testing, 2 Juniors started an Arduino Club. The boy's basketball team won their game Tuesday night. The engineerinig and HOSA students highlighted their upcoming STEM Fest projects at the stafff meeting.

We will have our K-2 Winter Music performance on Thursday, January 12, 2017.

We will have our awards ceremony Tuesday, January 17th to recognize achievements from first semester.

It is always good to keep our eyes in the future, but it is also important to remember our Histoy. Mrs. Lewis, one of our high school counselors, is beginning to organize a Black History Month Assembly for our students.

HSI, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Olive Garden are joining forces to create Pasta for Pennies; A fundraising campaign in benefit of Leukiemia and Lymphomoa Society. LLS helps to fund life saving blood cancer research and helps children and adults going through treatment right now.

Harmony School of Nature

Nature will be hosting a potluck dinner for 8th and 9th grade students and their families.

Harmony Science Academy Grand Prairie

Softball try-outs will be held every Tues and Thur of this month. On Friday will attend the Business Exchange Breakfast at the Chamber. UNT Admission Advisor for the Health Science will come speak to the 7th and 8th graders about what it is and how college admissions work. information that will help the students to start thinking about college and some specific majors or careers.

Harmony Science Academy Dallas

HSA Dallas Elementary received a free little library from Region 10 on January 5, 2017! Due to campus growth this school year, HSA Dallas Elementary had to convert their library into a classroom. Their goal this year is to provide more book options for students and promote literacy. They look forward to sharing their little library with their school community!
