Touro Synagogue, Rhode Island

First Jews in Newport. The small but growing colony of Newport, Rhode Island received its first Jewish residents in the 17th century, possibly as early as 1658. The earliest known Jewish settlers arrived from Barbados, where a Jewish community had existed since the 1620s. It was built in 1763 B.C.. It only take place less than one acre on Rhode Island.

The Similarities and Differences of Different Architecture

All of this famous buildings are have there own structure and history behind them. They don't look all the same, but they all built for one reason to represent their religion. Also, they don't look the same is because they were built in different country by the different people in different time. Some were built in 600 B.C. and some were built in early 1700s. And another important thing that they built different is there location. Some are on the mountain and some are by the river or sea, so they have to be different.

The similarity is the buildings are all represent or telling us what's there unique religion or some unique traditions that the only have it and no one else have it. So that's there similarity, they all give us a big picture of there religion and there beliefs.
