About Helen Phillips

Helen a highly experienced Lead Consultant with 10 years experience recruiting for the MoD Sector throughout the UK. Helen provides Permanent, Contract & Temporary Staffing solutions across selected MoD Contracts.

Helen specialises in recruiting within the Building Maintenance, FM, Engineering and New Works field for the Ministry of Defence Sectors across the Prime Contracts, working for small and large FM Companies, Engineering Contractors and Design Consultancies and more.

Covering a variety of disciplines across the Built Environment, Helen has established excellent, long running Client and Candidate Relationships. She provides a first class Recruitment Service, ensuring all recruitment needs are fully met.

How We Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance

For permanent roles and where appropriate for temporary roles, our Consultants carry out in depth one to one interviews.

Right to Work Check Process

All candidates are checked initially against all aspects of eligibility for Right to Work in line with UKBA guidelines, providing original or certified copies of identification (and visas/permits where appropriate) to prove both residency and work status.

Candidate CV Checks

Candidate CVs are checked with the candidate at interview/screening stage taking into account job suitability, experience, overall work history, technical/professional qualifications, references, location, availability and rate.

Qualification Checks

Qualifications such as CSCS etc are verified using an online system (Phoenix) and formal qualifications are verified with the awarding body if there is any doubt as to their validity.

Reference Checks

We tend to work with verbal references as it gives a truer picture of a candidate’s strengths and capabilities.

Ongoing Compliance Management

All candidate records are audited for accuracy, completeness and correct upload of relevant documents by our in-house compliance team.
