Right to Work Check Process
All candidates are checked initially against all aspects of eligibility for Right to Work in line with UKBA guidelines, providing original or certified copies of identification (and visas/permits where appropriate) to prove both residency and work status.
Candidate CV Checks
Candidate CVs are checked with the candidate at interview/screening stage taking into account job suitability, experience, overall work history, technical/professional qualifications, references, location, availability and rate.
Qualifications such as CSCS etc are verified using an online system (Phoenix) and formal qualifications are verified with the awarding body if there is any doubt as to their validity.
We tend to work with verbal references as it gives a truer picture of a candidate’s strengths and capabilities.
Ongoing Compliance Management
All candidate records are audited for accuracy, completeness and correct upload of relevant documents by our in-house compliance team.
