What is purposeful employment? In the words of P.A.W. Journey's Founder, Jeff Davis, purposeful employment is ________________________________. We want every single young man who is a part of Clemson Football and P.A.W. Journey to experience purposeful employment.
Steps to Purposeful Employment
Who am i
StrengthsFinder was developed by a team of scientists and positive psychologists to help people uncover and develop their natural talents. For our young men, it is utilized not only to help them understand who they are, but also understand how their strengths correlate to the professional world.
Where DO I want to Go
Through one-on-one meetings, our staff is able to learn about the student-athletes off the field. You would be surprised by what these incredible individuals aspire to do one day! Did you know our players want to be CEO's, Entrepreneurs, and even employees at the Atlanta Aquarium? We know each individual has a bright and unique future, but sometimes it takes a conversation to figure out what inspires each young man.
How do I get there
Our team currently focuses on several key areas to develop a powerful path to a career. The topics of 5th Quarter Sessions include interview tips, resume building, LinkedIn how-to, networking assistance, and internship and job selection.
