Why attend

Data Management Stage

Strategy, Implementation and Preparation

Businesses today talk a great deal about being data driven. Generating and collecting more data does not mean being data-driven. Organizations need to be able to effectively leverage their data to make decisions and drive new initiatives. And to do that, organisations need to have the right and reliable data to work with.

In most of today’s organisations data sources exist in silos, which makes it difficult to get a complete picture of an organisation’s data assets, and a lack of governance means data must be cleansed and standardised before it can be used., which takes a lot of time. Just as an example, according to latest research Data Scientists spend 80% of their time to data preparation rather than mining and modelling data.

To add in context, AI, IOT, AR, Big Data, Cloud, Data Science, GDPR have taken the information management discussions by storm. The fact is that most of organisations do not have the right data management strategy and data infrastructure to keep up with these technology and regulatory changes; and trends.

Data management is prerequisite to data driven business. On this year’s edition, we will go through some of the best data management strategies and techniques when it comes to Data Governance, Data quality, Privacy by Design, Modern Enterprise Architecture, Data warehousing, Data Preparation, Integration, Data Mining, Feature extraction and much more.

All presentations last 18 minutes + 2 min for quick Q&A.
