Get to know your Adobe apps 2021 Professional Learning for Middle School (Yrs 4 to 9) teachers

With digital literacy & creativity in education now more important than ever, as well as greater access to the wide range of simple and professional Adobe creativity applications now available in more school systems then ever before, the Adobe Education team are running a series of free webinars for teachers of Year 4 to 9 students throughout Semester 1, 2021.

Session 1

Session 1 was an overview of new and well established Adobe applications that are being used by students and teachers in primary and lower secondary to construct learning in creative ways and enhance modern communication skills.

Applications covered during session 1:

  • Adobe Spark
  • Rush
  • Fresco
  • Aero
  • Photoshop (including Photoshop Express, Photoshop for he iPad & Photoshop Camera)
  • Character Animator
  • Acrobat

Session 2

Based on the survey results from session 1, we workshopped the following three apps during session 2:

  • Character Animator
  • Photoshop
  • Acrobat

Session 3

Based on the survey results from session 1, we will be workshopping the following three apps during session 3:

  • Spark Video
  • Rush
  • Aero

During these events, we encouraged teachers to join the free Adobe Creative Educator program for educators in every subject area and level. To recognise professional development, participants will earn badges for completing each level of the Adobe Creative Educator program.

We encourage you to enrol in this program in advance or during the webinar series.
