Geoff and Michelle Mission Update - March 2017

Homework Club

The homework club continues to go from strength to strength. The children are enjoying the relaxed friendly environment where they can do their homework in peace. Some of the children are now bringing home exam results of 100%

The container proving to be a real asset. However, We are in much need of a security door for the container so that we can bring the computers in for the children to use. Additionally, we need all the electrical work to be done to enable this to happen.

Please continue to pray for Owen and the team as they assist the children. That God would use them and see Jesus through their actions.

Anti Drug Forum

The Jesus Care Centre hosted the Anti-Drug Forum in February to conduct an awareness campaign on drugs and how it effects our children.

Food and Clothes

The Jesus Cares Centre was able to bless the children from the community this month with porridge and juice .

Also, some needy families visited the center asking for clothes which we were able to provide them, thanks to some generous donations.

Jesus Cares Centre Improvements

The center has employed a local handyman from within the community.

In March he will be painting the container inside and outside and the main building will also get a much needed coat of paint. Already He has put a door on the office, which now makes the office operational.

Recently, we installed a main entrance gate to the center and other improvements are in the works.

Childrens Fun Day

We are planning a fun day for the children in the next two weeks just before school closes for the term. Please pray that everything comes together and that the children have fun.

South Africa

South Africa

Geoff was recently teaching Worldview and Victory Through the Cross on the Discipleship Traing School (DTS) in Bethlehem South Africa.

If all goes well, March will see Geoff heading to Uganda to teach on three topics (Worldview, Lordship and Relationships) in three different locations on three seperate DTS.

Additionally, Geoff will be preaching and conducting leadership training in various churches in Uganda.

Please keep him in your prayers. He will be away for seven weeks and we are trusting God for the finances for the visa, airfares and local transport costs. All up the total is around R11500 (AU$1150). So far we have pledges for R4000 (AU$400)

The Durban DTS finally graduated and the students are moving on to what God has next. Some are serving the base for a time, some are returning home to prepare to come on staff at YWAM Durban and others to the next leg of their journey to Discover their Destiny.

For breakthrough when we thought we were hitting brick walls, for divine intervention when we needed it in a hurry. Thank you for thinking about us, for praying for us.
