Luke Campbell

The most decorated athlete in Division III history, Campbell collected a record 11 career national championships during his time at SU. Currently, he is looking to qualify for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in the 400-meter hurdles for Germany.

Chelsea Tavik

Tavik was a two-time National Champion and a two-time national runner-up in the shot put during her time at SU. She was a five-time All-American and qualified for the NCAA Championships on five occasions in both indoor and outdoor national meets. In conference, Tavik was a three-time CAC Player of the Year.

Delannie Spriggs

Spriggs was one of the nation's fastest sprinters during his collegiate career. Spriggs was the 2010 Indoor National Champion in the 55-meter dash with a winning time of 6.20 seconds, which is an all-time Division III record in the event and was the fastest time in the world in 2010. After the 2010 meet, Spriggs was named the USTFCCCA National Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Year. He was a seven-time All-American with four outdoor honors and three indoor nods. He was inducted into the SU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020.

Meghan McGowan

McGowan qualified for five NCAA Championships throughout her collegiate career with four All-American awards in the high jump. She was also a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2017.

The SU Men's and Women's Track & Field teams were recognized for national academic success in 2019-20 by the USTFCCCA. The women's team earned a 3.329 cumulative GPA, while the men's team averaged a 3.116 GPA during the 2019-20 academic year.

Jim Jones has served as the head coach of both the track & field team and the cross country program since July 1999.

The Sea Gulls have been ranked among the top 10% of the Learfield Sports Director's Cup standings for 15 of the past 16 years, with 171 conference championships, 12 CAC All-Sports Awards, 20 NCAA Division III Team National Championships and 24 NCAA Individual National Championships.
