Technology in My Life By Cooper Knowles

My narrative arch showing technologies influence on my life.

I got my first computer from my grandpa when I was about 8 years old. It had no internet accessibility, and only 3 games, pinball, minesweeper, and backyard baseball. Having this computer I believe opened the door to technology for me.
I got my first cellphone when I was 12 because I was starting football at my middle school and my parents wanted a way for me to contact them after practice and ICE. There were many rules I got along with the phone, I couldn't delete texts, my mom had to delete them. I also had to have it down stairs by 8pm every night (even on weekends). Getting my first phone was a major event for me because I was the only one of my friends without one, I wanted to be one of the "cool kids".
My first car was a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My grandparents made a deal with me that if I flew down to California I could drive it back up to Washington. Of course having the chance of getting your first car is a major point in your life. I got myself into a lot of trouble after having my car, mainly because in my mind having the car made me unstoppable.
