A rose in cultivation since classical times. The fully double flowers open bluish pink and fade to creamy white.

Companion plant

English lavender grew at the base for several years, protecting the rose from mud splashes.

Living mulch

When the lavender failed to survive another winter, a Dark Reiter Geranium pratense replaced it.

No splashes

A soaker hose keeps the soil moist and a mulch keeps it cool.

Tiny Monster geranium adds a splash of colour at the base of the bed.
