View From Out My Window Lexy Karykous

This is the view from my bedroom window. The first thing I see when I wake up each morning is the roof of my house and the trees in my backyard. This is the view I have seen most often during self quarantine. I'm not proud of it but when I'm not working I spend most of my days in my bed. These past few weeks have been a bit depressing.

Every morning that I don't have work I wake up to my sister doing yoga. Occasionally I join her, but I'm not as well balanced.

This is my dog Rocky. He is actually very camera shy and it is hard to get a good picture of him looking at the camera.
Rocky loves sitting on the windowsill, especially on sunny days. Here's what his daily view looks like from his favorite spot in the house.

Unfortunately, I work in food service so I cannot spend everyday at home. I work at a bagel deli so most mornings I have to be out of the house by 6:30 am, before anyone else in my house wakes up. It has been rainy for a few days in a row so these are two photos I took in the parking lot of my job of the raindrops on my car windows.

This is my nephew. I have not been able to see him, for two weeks now and within those two weeks he's grown several teeth and took his first step! I really hope he doesn't grow too much until I get to see him again.

I always look forward to the time of the year where the weather gets warmer and the cherry blossoms start blooming. I miss going outside and enjoying spring.

The rain hasn't stopped my sister from going outside and enjoying the fresh air. It's always nice to have a friend greet us excitedly upon our arrival coming home from wherever we've been.
