Our theme and focus of study at this year’s Winter Advance was Philippians 1:3-11 with special attention given to the last 3 verses:
This is my prayer for you: that your love will grow more and more; That you will have knowledge and understanding with your love; That you will see the difference between good and bad and will choose the good; That you will be pure and without wrong for the coming of Christ; That you will be filled with the good things produced in your life by Christ to bring glory and praise to God.
– Philippians 1:9-11 New Century Version
We were blessed by heartfelt worship, refreshed with lots of laughter, satisfied with tasty food, tired out by playing in the snow and talking far too long at night, grateful for new and better friendships, and challenged to live for Christ. I want to express my sincere thanks for the adult and college leaders who gave so generously of their time and also to Mike and Kathy Nimon for allowing us to use their beautiful mountain resort again. - Pastor Pat

We will be ending the school year together with a study by David Platt called "Follow Me". We are excited to dig in!
Follow Me Student Bible Study, based on David Platt's book Follow Me, is a short-term, video-enhanced study for all youth, grades. "Follow Me." Christ's command has been examined time and again, but have we lost sight of its meaning? Based on David Platt's book Follow Me, this video-enhanced study will guide students to an understanding of Jesus' call to deny self and live with an unwavering devotion to Him. In the end, a picture of real discipleship will be clearer along with a challenge to not only follow Christ but also to make disciples for His kingdom.
