While you may be taking your last dip in the ocean, Autumn is still warm enough to be outdoors, so here are some suggestions to enjoy before winter sets in. Grab your favourite SevenC's boardies and get inspired.

Hiking, walking and biking are great activities for Autumn. We are lucky enough to have some outstanding tracks and trails right on our doorstep suitable for varying skill levels in Perth.

Law Walk, Kings Park is a fantastic trail through the botanical gardens. With spectacular views over the Swan River, why not end your walk with a relaxing picnic in Kings Park and take in our beautiful city.

Canning River Park - 12 km from Perth - is excellent for a picnic with friends and family. This trail takes you through the wetlands and paperback forest. With 97 different bird species, it's popular with keen photographers and bird watchers!

Jenna Biddi Yorga - meaning "women's feet walking on the path" - Blackwall Reach is situated 18kms from Perth in the country of the Whadjuk Noongar people. This is a beautiful trail along the southern side of the Swan and Canning Rivers. It is traditionally recognised by the Whadjuk people as a place for women and children, whilst the trail on the northern side is recognised as a place for men.

Armadale and Rolleystone have great bike tracks winding through the hills. The Trail WA website is a great resource to check out for these tracks.

Kite flying; a wholesome activity at any age. Why not dust out your old kite from your childhood, or better yet, make your kid-kite dreams come true and splurge on something bright and extra. Langley Park on Perth foreshore is an excellent place to fly a kite, so why not get your exercise this weekend from something a little different.

Galaxy Drive-In Theatre is situated in the suburb of Kingsley. It is the old fashioned way to catch a movie. Load up your car with the blankets and pillows, park up and watch a movie from the comfort of your vehicle. Stock up with munchies and enjoy this unique experience

By the way, don't forget to plan out the veggie patch. It's time to put in the beetroot, cabbage, carrots, leek, radish, spinach and onions.

Why not light up the fire pit or the barbeque and toast some marshmallows. Autumn is a great season to enjoy nature's playground!
