Hello Ministry Partner! Thank you for sending us and investing in the next generation! Your prayers has given us strength for the past year and it has been an amazing journey. God has been faithful and has given us more opportunities than we can ever imagine and we can't help but celebrate and give thanks to God for everything He's done for 2016!
We thank God for the students who accepted and followed Jesus in their lives. Indeed the heaven is celebrating when a life is turned from darkness to light. This is the very reason why I love what I do; honor God and share the gospel, and watch how he transforms lives. Every person has a different story, background and struggle, but only the grace of God can bring freedom in their lives.
We had fun during our last Youth Service for 2016. We had food, games and loads of stuff prepared for our students, but my favorite was when the place was filled with students praying and encouraging one another. It was a beautiful sight!
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." Acts 2:42
We thank God for open doors as we preach the gospel. It brings me great security that the God that we serve is a God who called us not only for his purposes but will gladly provide what we need and will go beyond by finishing everything before we even get started.
Jupeter, was the Kid's church administrator for Victory GenSan. He was in charged of our worship service for kids. He would often come up with strategies in leading these children closer to God. Eventually his passion for the next generation grew which led him to answering the call for full time ministry.
Odie, she's been a volunteer campus missionary for the past 8 years in Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. Even while she was working as a nurse and a medical representative, she tirelessly went out of her way to meet students in the campus day in and day out. It's a great privilege to be mentored by such passionate woman of faith.
For raising and influencing the next generation leaders for years, her desire to win the campuses did not waver--it kept on growing through time. Right now, she's engaged to our Regional Director for Mindanao, Ptr. Joppet Tan, a man with the same burning passion to reach the lost for Jesus. I am blessed seeing them dedicate their lives to go and make disciples in the campuses.
I, myself was a product of campus ministry. A team of missionaries from Quezon City went to General Santos during my freshman year as a high school in Mindanao State University to preach the gospel through a Life Seminar. At first I was reluctant in everything that they were doing, but eventually, Ate Lyn, invited me to join a small group. From there, I came to know God, his heart for his people, and his unending pursuit for us to have a relationship with him.
Throughout the years of seeing people work in the ministry, increased the desire in my heart to reach out to the people who are yet to discover the faith, hope and love that Jesus brings. After years of seeking God, I decided to be part of a movement that would invest in whatever way in the lives of young people, believing and rooting for them and their bright future.
