Last year I was in search of a location that would work with my vision of an elegant, timeless and luxurious wedding inspiration shoot I was planing for spring. A friend of mine had mentioned “The Mansion” to me few months earlier, and after checking out pictures on their website, I decided to go check it out in person. Once I stepped into that house, I knew that i had found what I was looking for. The history, the bold colors and decor of every room inspired me to capture the images that would bring us back in time. This shoot was recently featured on Southern New England Weddings magazine.
Built in 1807 for entrepreneur David H. Sumner, The Sumner Mansion Inn was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 and is recognized as one of the finest Federal Mansions in New England to survive from the early 19thcentury.
Adrienne Craig from Admire Design created an invitation suit especially for our shoot. One of a kind, stunning design. She drawn the architectural picture of the mansion which gave it a romantic and luxurious feel.
