Hello Parents & Students,

Students, we could not be more happy with your dedication and motivation during our third unit in 6th grade math. A few key items moving forward this year. Imagine Math is taken for a grade in math classes and assigned as homework; however, we also provide class time to work on lessons. For Mrs. Royal's and Mrs. Cromer's class, this is counted as part of the weekly homework grade (formative) and 2 lessons or post quizzes need to be passed by Friday at the end of each week for a grade. Students are able to work ahead in the program and complete additional lessons for future homework assignments. Vocabulary Homework can always be found on Google Classroom. Content homework will sometimes be on Google Classroom or a paper packet and we address this every Tuesday in class. We provide students time to write down their homework and weekly schedules in their planners every Monday and utilize our Moodle Page for due dates and quiz/test dates.

All grades will be up-to-date by Monday morning at 9 am. If, you see a M in the grade-book that means you have a missing assignment and need to see your teacher during tutorials to make-up or turn in the assignments.

Students, please remember throughout the school year, if you need to retake any (Formative) or test (Summative) you will need to schedule the retake within two days of grades being posted, and you have no more than five days to retake the assignment or test. If, you need to retake any assignment, please come join me in my classroom for tutorials between 8:05-8:40. Also, as a reminder for those that wish to retake any assignment or test, on the retake you are only able to receive a max score of 80 percent, please don't let this discourage you from retaking it, if needed.
