Nigerian oil spill crisis Oil blackens the river

In Nigeria thousands of barrels of crude oil has been spilled in a famous river called the Niger river Delta. The spillage has caused people to lose jobs, food and shelter. The spill is also having a huge environmental effect, killing lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery that was once there.

The oil company Royal dutch Shell has been accused causing the oil spill. Shell says that they will help restore the river to its previous state of beauty but so far has done nothing.

Shell still says that they are cleaning the river though that is all just a lie. These lies need to stop Shell needs to clean, Shell needs to replace old corroded pipes. If they are so concerned about theft send patrols.
Shell was demanded to pay every single local but it is debatable whether they are actually doing so.
