Humanistic JUST A LITTLE ABOUT ME, MYSELF, AND I

The humanistic perspective focuses primarily on happiness and health. It reflects on determination, realization, and self report.

Part of humanistic psychology, as laid out by Rogers, is the idea of growth promoting climate. A growth promoting climate has three crucial pieces that come together as a whole to round a person's happiness: genuineness, acceptance, empathy.

Family plays an important role in all of these, especially in acceptance. A lot of my happiness is a direct result of my family's unconditional love they have for me. Even as a small toddler a sense of acceptance was present.

Maslow, a humanistic psychologist, emphasized self actualization. Self actualization is the motivation to fulfill one's full potential. I live day to day motivated to achieve greatness. Whether the goal is big or small it drives me in my every action. (Even those as small as graduating preschool)
