Causes of the Indian wars

The basic cause of the Indian wars was the fact that the Americans wanted the Natives land and all the reasources that came with the land.

Getting land from Indians was generally accomplished by signing treaties with the Indians whereby they agreed to move to specific areas and leave the rest of the land for the whites. But after a while it was too much and they were just defending there lands.
