Who is this for? This guide is for students who need to deposit an assignment to the assessment area.
Step 1: Choose the course for which you need to deposit an assignment.
On the dashboard in Digication, go to the “My Courses” area and select the course for which you need to complete the assessment requirement.
Step 2: Click on the “Assessment” tab.
Here, you will see the number of assignments you need to deposit. In some cases, you will see the specific name of the assignment. However, you must check with your professor to make sure you are submitting the correct assignment into the correct assessment area.
Step 3: Choose the file to deposit.
You can either add a file (MS Word, MS Excel, PDF, etc), a media file (video or audio), or even a page of your ePortfolio to deposit.
Step 4: Click on “Complete and Submit.”
Make sure that you are depositing the correct file and click on 'Complete and submit.'
Step 5: Confirm your submission.
If you see the green bar that indicates “Completed,” then it means that your submission has been recorded.
BONUS: In case you need to deposit a page of your ePortfolio to the assessment area, click on the “ePortfolio” tab next to “Upload Files” and select the ePortfolio page you want to deposit from the list of ePortfolios.
TIP: Make sure that the content on this page is published before you submit.
BONUS: In case you need to deposit a video file to the assessment area, click on the “Add Video” button and upload your file using the dialog box that pops up.
