Costume Parade October 31st

October 31st will be our annual costume parade, rain or shine. If we are outside, we would ask that you park in the front and along the road. Our students should start walking around 9:00AM. Parents are asked to watch the parade along the side of the back driveway, starting near the PreK area. We will then walk around the rear of the building, down behind the gymnasium, and loop back around the front.

If the weather does not allow an outside parade, we will make an announcement via text and social media before 7:45 AM. If we end up inside, parents will then be able to park on the south facing side of the back driveway (the right as you drive in). We will have the side door to the gym open for visitors and the bleachers will be pulled out. The students will walk through the gym and cafeteria (possibly twice) to show off their costumes.

Please note that we do not allow face paint, full-masks, nor weapons during the school dress-up day. We hope you can join us for this fun event.

Preschool and Extended Day Payment Update

Our Unipay site is now up and running. We can start accepting payments for extended day and preschool through a variety of methods. Below is the link.

JRB STEAM Night was a huge success. Thank you to all of the families that took a moment to see what sort of creative lessons take place during many of our classes. Also, a huge thank you to all of the staff members that were able to help out in many different ways.

JRB Music Ensemble News

Some member of the JRB band were able to join the Oakmont/Overlook Spartan Band during last Friday's football game. They appeared to have a blast, and they did a great job!

Music Lessons

We offer lessons for students in grades K-5 for voice, piano, guitar, ukulele and violin. If your child is interested in lessons for any of these instruments, please email Mrs. Lordan at mlordan@awrsd.org, and she will put you in touch with an instructor who has openings for that instrument.
