2019 MEMBERS

ANDREA MENDOZA

Life is lived at a really fast pace. I’m a Senior at Davis High School, getting ready to go to college and homework. The days I do get to slow down I enjoy hiking. I enjoy seeing how this world was created. I find myself seeing how everything in the world works together. I also enjoy reading. When I read a book with amazing topics, I often find myself sucked into that story. I’m no longer in Yakima. Everything has its time and my time has just started.

FLORA GONZALEZ

My name is Flora Gonzalez, and I’m a senior at A.C. Davis high school. I have obtained my CPR and First aid license, and passed the seal of bilingual. My goal is to graduate from high school and get my RN bachelor degree in nursing. My favorite activity or past time is to go running, hiking, play with my dogs, play my guitar, listen to music, sing and dance.

ALEJANDRO PEREZ

A thing that I am most proud of is having parents that don’t hide me from the real world. I was able to experience tough obstacles throughout my lifetime and from those experiences, I was able to find myself. My dream goal in life is to be able to have multiple ways to increase my income and by that being able to afford to help out my Family. One of the hobbies that I enjoy doing that get me closer to my goal in life is working on my business. Even though I don’t receive any profit from it, this doesn’t stop me from learning and getting experience.

ALEJANDRO BRUNO

My name is Alejandro Bruno de la Mora, and I'm currently a senior at A.C. Davis High School and plan on graduating in 2019. Some of my pastimes are running, weight lifting, and making tamales with my momma! I’m planning on majoring in Criminal Justice and plan on going to Washington State University in the fall of 2019, go Cougs! One of my personal accomplishments is when I was able to perform at the HAAP banquet when I was with the Mariachi group: Mariachi Arquorius.

LIZBETH CERVANTES

My name is Lizbeth Cervantes. I am a senior at A.C. Davis High School. I am proud of my roots, and I am also so proud of being a Hispanic Latino mother in the United States. I want to pursue a career in Biomedical Science because I want to find a cure for cancer, HIV, and other diseases. I like being part of the A.C. Davis MEChA club because I enjoy doing community service.
