At the end of the autumn term, Ullesthorpe CE Primary School was inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist School framework. The inspection report highlighted the following strengths: The school lives out its Biblically based Christian vision through its inclusive and welcoming ethos and the provision of a curriculum which enables all pupils to succeed. Relationships with the church and wider community are a strength. Partnerships with other schools in the hub and trust have supported rapid improvement driven by the Biblical vision. Parental comments included "the school helps people to see a way forward when they can't see one" and from the children "it is our job to help others shine more brightly".

This term we will continue to live out our vision of developing flourishing, lifelong learners in partnership with the communities we serve. All of our schools are in the process of designing a coherent curriculum which is rich, rounded and rigorous as we believe every child is a unique individual with no limits to curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Our curriculum is the entire planned learning experience underpinned by our values and our vision. Whichever of our schools your child attends, you will find an emphasis on emotional well-being and oracy. Our domains of learning include - science, technology and mathematics; literacy, language and oracy; physical and emotional health; citizenship and character; faith and belief; time and place; arts and creativity.

This newsletter can only give you a snapshot of what it is like to attend one of our inclusive schools where we strive to enable all to flourish. If you are looking at school places for first-time admission or mid-term, you are most welcome to visit : All Saints (Sapcote), Claybrooke, Dunton Bassett, Gilmorton Chandler, John Wycliffe, Sharnford, St Margaret's (Stoke Golding), St Mary's (Bitteswell) and Ullesthorpe.
