Welcome to CU Group Quick Guide and FAQ

AULA: the new mobile first home for your courses

You'll find your courses on the new AULA learning experience platform. AULA is mobile first and gives you access to your course materials and better communication with your Tutors and fellow classmates

You'll be added to your modules and a community page with all the other students from around the CU Group studying the same course as you.

You can download the AULA app in your app store for your phone.

How can I find my courses?

Please be aware in can take up to 24 hours for your Module Spaces access to be updated. If you have successfully enrolled and 24 hours have passed please the check the following guides to help aid your learning journey. Please read the following guides to get you started

What sort of AULA Spaces will I get?

You'll see a number of pages when you log into Aula, these are called Aula Spaces and you will see three main types of Space.

Campus Induction Page

Your campus induction page guides through everything you need to do to be successful in your studies. You can find this by searching for Induction in your modules list.

  • Meet and talk to and your fellow new starters and some of our current student ambassadors
  • Find answers to questions you may have about us, including our resources and services for you
  • Find out more about how we teach and what you can expect during your studies
  • Think about your aspirations, your strengths and development areas, and start planning for success
  • Practise using Aula, our online learning environment

Programme Community Spaces

You'll find your course community page, which is a shared area for everyone on your course across CU Group. This may be the first page you see when you log in.

Module Spaces for your courses

These will have your module title e.g. 107HSC - Promoting Children's Health and Wellbeing. You'll be able to access your learning materials and assignments here.

To find your module space

Click on the title of your current module and you will see a dropdown with all modules attached πŸ‘‡

Click the title of your page then then search or select the module you want

What can I find on my module space?

Community tab including

Community (chat) for everyone studying your module across CU Group campuses.

Journey tab includes

  • Learning materials for your module
  • Assignments

Small group chats available everywhere in AULA

You can take part in small group chats similar to WhatsApp anywhere in AULA.

You can create Direct Messages and Group Chats in AULA πŸ‘†

Help is always on hand in AULA! You can get answers to many problems by clicking on the question mark at the bottom of the purple side bar. πŸ‘‡

How do I hand in an assignment?

  • How to find them - Assignments are under the Assignments tab on your Journey page
  • How to upload a file
  • Where do I find my marks - you'll find these in SOLAR after your marks have been finalised by the exam board.
  • Got a question about how to complete your assignment - ask your tutor.
  • Got a question about deadline, resits and extensions then ask Registry.

How do I get an extension for my assignment?

  • You'll need to submit a form via the Student Portal. You'll also need to submit evidence to support your request.

Are you enrolled? Yes. When? Today. It can take 24 hours for the system to update and you gain access to your module.

Get Help From Aula Module Page

Go to the purple side bar on the left hand side of your module space. At the bottom of the page you'll find a purple question mark, where you can search for help or send a request directly to the Aula Support Team.
