Location description: China is located in southeast Asia. Along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. China is the worlds the third largest country. Its shape on the map is like a rooster.

major cities: Beijing, shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, etc.

Capital: Beijing

Climate: The climate in China varies depending on what region you'r in. In the northeast the summers are hot and dry and winters are freezing cold. The north and central regions of china have a lot of rainfall and have hot summers and cold winters.

Typical plant life: Bamboo, Pine Trees, Willow trees, Plum Blossom, Peonies, etc......

Typical animal life: giant panda, golden-haired monkey, South China tiger, brown-eared pheasant, red-crowned crane, red ibis, white-flag dolphin and Chinese alligator.

Population: China has a population of 1.3 billion people.

Major agricultural products: China is ranked number 1 in worldwide farm output of rice, wheat, potatoes, tomato, sorghum, peanuts, tea, millet, barley, cotton, oilseed and soybeans.
