Year in Review 2016

Unknown amounts of coffee consumed. Tens of thousands of photos taken. Thousands of miles driven. Five countries on three continents explored.

Highlights from one incredible year.

Skiing across the west via train

A friend and I boarded the train in San Francisco, made stops in Tahoe and Salt Lake City, and concluded our tour in Colorado.

Nordic Travels: Iceland & Norway

Late winter found us up north. Like, arctic circle north.

We toured southern Iceland, including its glaciers and waterfalls, then flew to the Lofoten Islands in Norway where endless fjords greeted us. The northern lights made an appearance too.

National Parks

A little closer home, weekend escapes were made to several National Parks and other public lands.

Vernal Falls, El Capitan, and Horsetail Falls (Firefall spectacle), Yosemite
Mt Whitney
The coast in Redwood National and State Parks
Dream Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park

And Even Closer to Home

Many evenings and weekends were spent exploring our backyard, from our hillside in San Francisco to Marin up north, and, of course, THE bridge.
